SALES ENGINEER, ALLEN, TEXAS

Responsibilities:

  • Service Pemica’s existing U.S. accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to visit and call on existing clients and potential sales opportunities in Northern Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Mississippi;
  • Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature;
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses;
  • Recommend to management changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments in the field;
  • Resolve customer complaints by researching problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management based on feedback from the field;
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge on all Pemica product lines by attending brand certification trainings and workshops; reviewing professional publications; and establishing personal networks;

Requirements:

  • BA in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Foreign equivalent acceptable.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a senior engineering position with experience in Smiths Detection Equipment, Honeywell, CCTV, fire detection, access control systems.
  • Must have training for HITRAX, SIPROX, MMTD, IONSCAN 500DT, B-SCAN, CEIA Metal Detectors, as well as NETAXS123 & WINPACK SE ACCESS SYSTEM & VISTA -20P SECURITY PANE;  IDTECK- 1st Generation Access Control Systems and 2nd Generation Access Control Systems.
  • Must be able and willing to drive in Northern Texas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
